The largest cottage is detached and has one double bedroom, one with three single beds and two sofa beds in the living room.

For cosy evenings in the early and late season each living room has a working fireplace which can be lit with the wood stacked behind each cottage, normally used for the individual boilers which provide hot water for each cottage's shower room.

The open plan kitchenettes each have a gas cooker and a fridge but these are rarely used as most guests are enticed by the wonderful aromas from the restaurant kitchen.

BLACK TREE COTTAGES - KARAAGAC

Black Tree Village is one of the most unique and relaxing holiday destinations in our collection. Set one thousand metres above one of the most beautiful stretches of the Lycian coastline Black Tree is a small self-contained paradise.

The original farmhouse is over two hundred and fifty years old and once stood in the centre of the flourishing agricultural village of Karaagac (Turkish for Black Tree). Today Karaagac is home to just a few farming families as many of its former inhabitants have opted for an easier lifestyle on the plains below.

There are 9 self catering cottages in Black Tree, a restaurant & bar, a tea-house and a small mini-market.

A swimming pool has been sympathetically blended into the landscape for human guests and a small lake created for visiting birds and wildfowl.

Another building houses the original hamam (Turkish Bath), open two days a week and there is a small library with a selection of reference books and novels, a potters wheel for the more creative and a telescope to scan the amazing night skies.

The cottages, although traditional in style, have been equipped with comfort in mind. There are two pairs of semi-detached one bedroom cottages which each sleep four with a separate twin or double bedroom and one or two two sofa beds in the living room.

In addition there are two semi-detached two bedroom cottages, each with one double and one twin bedroom and one sofa-bed.
